Carbon fiber drag washers offer 10 lbs of smooth stopping power, while the reel is constructed with a 7075 aluminum main shaft, 2014 aluminum drive gear, solid brass pinion gear, and a shallow cut CNC 6061 aluminum braid-ready spool.

Innovative Spool & Reel Rotor

The patented spool design minimizes line friction, enhancing casting distance and line control. The aerodynamic reel rotor further reduces resistance, delivering superior overall performance.

Premium Components Throughout

Despite its finesse design, the Kestrel Carbon Body SFS reel packs plenty of power. Features include double sliding stabilizer rods (D.S.S.R.), an aluminum main gear, brass pinion gear, and a direct drive aluminum handle, making it a robust tool for finicky fish in clear or highly pressurized waters.
